Home and School Association (HSA)
The HSA provides an opportunity for parents to be more closely
involved in the educational endeavors of the school.
The objectives of the association are as follows:
- To develop Catholic-Christian education and the welfare of all the children of Saint Joseph School.
- To enhance the parents'/guardians' and teachers' roles in the education of the children.
- To provide an opportunity for parents/guardians and teachers to work together, through mutual understanding for the good of the children.
- To develop projects to support the following:
- promote the spiritual, academic, cultural, social and physical growth of the children
- assist in the improvement of the school facility
- support the purchase of items to enhance parent-school relations
HSA By-Laws
HSA meetings for 2008-2009 will be held at 7:00 PM in the Parish Hall on September 29th, February 9th and April 27th.
Parents assist in various areas throughout the school, such as:
- classroom aides
- lunchroom assistants
